In July 2021, Trey joined West Virginia State University (WVSU) as the Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. In his current role as Assistant Vice President for University Advancement and Vice President of the WVSU Foundation, Trey oversees major gifts, corporations, and foundation, planned giving programs, and serves as the campaign director for an upcoming capital campaign. He has been vital to the fundraising growth of 34% in FY22 and 42% in FY23 while fostering partnerships and securing critical resources. Before his higher education career, Trey held roles in hospitality and healthcare.
Trey earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration and
Sociology from North Carolina State University. Trey enjoys spending time with my son and family, attending sporting, community and social events, reading, and golfing.
