Michelle Lopez Orsini

Michelle is an architectural and interior design leader with over 28 years of extensive design and management experience. She has collaborated in multiple project types, from workplaces, higher education, libraries, police stations, courthouses, and Hospitality (including resorts), to single and multi-family homes. Her commissions, which involved concept development, architectural and interior design, programming, space planning, design development, coordination, construction administration, urban planning, and master plan design, are located across the United States, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico and a
Master’s degree in Architecture, University of Maryland. She enjoys creating abstract pieces of art, paintings, collages, and 3D pieces. She also likes to hike and spend time in nature.
Why I joined CIS?:
Our Latino community in Wake County is increasing and in great need of support. As a Latino, I feel a
great responsibility to help Latino children and families throughout our community and create
stronger bonds and a stronger future for all.
