Christopher Evans is an entrepreneur and philanthropist with offices in Raleigh, North Carolina where he advises several businesses and not-for-profit enterprises in the US and Internationally. He serves on the board of directors of Communities In Schools of Wake County, and DOOR International, and is a member of NC State’s Entrepreneurial Advisory Board. He also developed and teaches a class at Trinity Academy of Raleigh called Forum, which engages the school’s 9-12 grade students in Socratic discussions on a variety of topics.
Mr. Evans served on the Board of Directors for Engage (NASD: ENGA), a provider of profile-driven Internet marketing solutions. Before Engage, Mr. Evans was the CEO and founder of Accipiter, a leading provider of ad management solutions purchased by CMGI, Inc. Mr. Evans was named Master Entrepreneur as part of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year program. Mr. Evans is also the author of Fruit at Work – Mixing Christian Virtues with Business.
He and his wife, Cathy, have two children and live in Raleigh.
