H. Alexander Holmes is currently an independent consultant, advising clients on issues such as financial planning, corporate structure, taxes and business succession. He previously served as Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen & Co.’s Raleigh, North Carolina office and head of the tax practice for their Greensboro office. He is a co-founder of Communities in Schools of Wake County, NC, a Trustee of Meredith College, and an Advisory Board member of Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, NC. Mr. Holmes is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a B.S. in Commerce and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
