NCSU Students Sponsor Field Day at Hurricane's Academy

Students from NC State University sponsored a Field Day for CISWC students at the Hurricane's Academy Community Learning Center at Walnut Terrace.

Hurricane's Academy students joined the NC State students in various grueling activities including the football toss, a foul shooting contest, hula hooping, basketball relays, and the "football walk". After the competition all the students enjoyed a big cake as well as punch and snacks provided by NC State. Door prizes from the NC State Athletic Department were also handed out to lucky students!

This Field Day was a reward for the hard work of the Hurricane's Academy students during this report card period. CISWC would like to thank NC State and its thoughtful students for planning and carrying out such a fun and rewarding Field Day!
