Danialle Karmanos Joins CIS Wake Board of Directors

Communities In Schools of Wake County is pleased to announce that Danialle Karmanos, wife of Carolina Hurricane owner Peter Karmanos, Jr, has joined its Board of Directors.
 
Danialle is very involved with children's programs in her native Detroit, Mi.  This past January 12th, Danialle chaired the AutoGlow! event which raised over $850,000 for The Children's Center and its work with at-risk youth.  Danialle has also founded a unique and innovative program to help combat rising trends in childhood obesity.  The Danialle Karmanos Work it Out program promotes and encourages children to live healthier, more active lifestyles through fun and engaging activities.
