Field Trip to Pinehurst

Students from Communities In Schools of Wake County attended the Practice Round of the 2005 US Open at Pinehurst. Despite record heat, the students enjoyed the opportunity to attend a world class sporting event.

This trip was made possible by the generosity of a corporate donor and the philanthropy of several key individual donors that recognize the importance of providing at-risk students with unique opportunities to expand their horizons and dream beyond their current circumstances and surroundings.
